Mike and Sara met in 2002 in College Station, TX. Mike originally from Houston and Sara from Austin. Both were in their early twenties and ready to take on anything life threw at them. Their lives consisted of mostly play, little study and a lot of socializing! They both had a good friend, Jon Molberg, whom they met separately in College Station. Mike and Jon were fellow Aggies and good friends. In May 2002 they both showed up at Jon's for a party and it was then that they crossed paths for the first time. That night neither of them knew they would be swept off their feet months later, but they did know this time something was different. After years of stepping in and out of love, Sara finally fell hard in love, and this time, Mike caught her.
From that day forward, they were best friends. Then came their four legged love, Shortie Michelle. Their trio was well known by their many friends as very successful, smart and happy. In 2004 Mike graduated from Texas A&M, and they packed up and left their college life and moved to the big city of Houston to settle down. Things changed suddenly when five years into their journey their daughter was born, Kaylee Shea. Then just 19 months later came Aubree Jade.
They learned a lot about each other as they began raising two children at the age of 25 and that was their focus. The goal was to make it to 10 years and see where they were.... Well 10 years later, Mike proposed in front of a beautiful waterfall under a silver moon sparkling, under a gorgeous jealous sky and the ring sparkling, it happened. She fell in love, and he caught her all over again. Soon after, the wedding date was set for October 12, 2013. Their family has already been married in love for 11 years. It's now that they’ve decided to exchange their vows and celebrate their marriage by having the wedding of their dreams with everyone who has played a part in their journey together.
Mike and Sara had an amazing vintage/chic wedding on the Magnolia Lawn at the Yacht Club at Horseshoe Bay Resort.

It was a beautiful October evening on 10/12/13 as friends and family watched Mike and Sara marry after 11.5 years together at a lakeside ceremony. The bride wore a stunning Enzoani gown and the couple’s two flower girl daughters, were decked out in pearls, sparkles and tulle, dressed in TuTu DuMonde attire. The lakeside reception on the Azalea lawn beneath the Harbor Lights Deck, was complete with plated 3 course meal, Stiff Cocktails, cigar bar, relaxing lounge, fun props and gorgeous ruffle cake made by Denise at Lovebird Sweets, beautiful flowers arranged by Gretchen at Petals Ink., and the most wicked DJ, Christian at Altared Weddings, that played the couples favorite music all night and had people dancing in the moonlight, waiting for the sunrise! The event coordinator was Rachel Harris of HSBR, the videography was done effortlessly by Diane at Crescent Films, and the pictures turned out impeccable, thanks to our Rockstar photographer, Fernando, at Fernando Weberich Photography. The night ended with a sparkler exit as the couple drove away from what they called, “the best day ever”.
