A little about the couple as told by the bride:
There’s a saying “Three time’s a charm.” This proves to be true to our love story. Carl and I met three times (2009, 2010, and 2012) before we became a couple. On our first year anniversary, he decided to take me down memory lane where we had our firsts. For lunch, we went to the restaurant where we first met. For dinner, we went to the restaurant where we had our first date. Lastly, he proposed at Hermann Park where we first took a walk. Since every thing happened in threes, it seemed appropriate that we get married three times! Our first wedding took place in the white sands of Kauai, Hawaii exactly 5 years from the day we met. No hurricane could have stopped us from having our day at the beach. After the ceremony, we were showered with Hawaiian rain, which we considered a blessing from above. Our second wedding took place in a church witnessed by our closest family. Once again, rain was not far behind as we got showered with God’s blessing as we walked out of the church. Our third wedding took place on our anniversary, with all of our families and friends to witness our love. Once again we were greeted with rain the morning of our wedding.
We had our wedding at Agave Real. The wedding was everything that we imagined it to be. The weather cleared, the sun peaked, and the wind was just right. As Carl always managed to surprise me, I decided to surprise him by singing while I walked down the isle. DJ Ivan of The Wedding Show played songs that we requested and kept the party alive. We had live sounds when I walked down the isle and when my brothers played the violin and saxophone. DJ Ivan was very flexible. Our videographer Marc Azucena from Ulises Reyes Studio captured every important moments for us. Fernando brought in his team of photographers to capture the moments that we would cherish for years.
We will forever remember every moment of our wedding and would like to thank our family and friends for making it special. So I guess the saying is right “Three time’s a charm.” In front of the sea, in front of God, and in front of those who love us, we said “I, Do.”
