Trey and Jordan first laid eyes on each other in middle school. They knew of one another but never took the time to talk. They continued into high school and eventually even decided to go to the same college, Texas State University. During their last semester at the university a mutual friend brought them close together and they eventually started talking and realized that there was something between the two of them. They start dating and fell in love.
On their four year anniversary Trey took Jordan to Ninos to celebrate. They had a nice dinner, and as they started walking out of the restaurant Trey surprised Jordan by popping the question. As soon as Jordan said "YES", their heard cheers as their friends and family came out and congratulated them. Trey, Jordan and their families and friends went to a local venue where they could then celebrate and have an engagement party.
They quickly started to plan their wedding and while venue shopping they fell in love with Madera Estates! It was the most beautiful place and exactly what Jordan had dreamed of. Their parents were both eager to help the two plan their wedding, and over the next year they designed the wedding of their dreams! Floral Events put together beautiful arrangements for the centerpieces with cherry blossoms towering over hydrangeas, roses and peonies. Chinatown Band brought so much fun and entertainment to the night as they performed songs from all generations!
Cordua Catering served plantain crusted chicken and garlic shrimp over cilantro rice to the guests. The wedding cake created by Sweets to Dream On was a white fondant cake with florals cascading down. The groom requested cake balls and chocolate covered strawberries instead of a traditional wedding cake.
The night was absolutely magical and was even more than anything Trey and Jordan could have ever imagined.
